The Premiere Edition of The Quadfathers Hit List

In anticipation of our first sanctioned MRDA bout of the season, this Saturday the 20th against the Capital District Trauma Authority, The Quadfathers are excited to share what will be a recurring feature on our website; The Quadfathers Hit List. On a regular basis leading up to the 2013 Mohawk Valley Cup, we will be featuring our skaters on this page, and letting our fans learn a little more about the men on the track by answering some questions about roller derby.

Our initial version of The Quadfathers Hit List features the 2013 Captain of the Quadfathers, #35, Brandon Scherz.

What is your derby name?

- B.Scherz

What’s the history behind it?
-Its my real name

- 35

Why did you choose it?
-This was my number for hockey. I was a goalie at R.F.A.

-Graham Espe because he is one of the founding members of our team and without him I might not be playing derby.

What is your motivational quote?
- I don't really have a motivational quote. But growing up playing sports I have always been told you play how you practice. So I always push myself in practice so that the games come easier.

-My brother Dylan used to play

Finally, is there anything I didn’t ask you about that you want to talk about?
- If you have never been to one of our games you should definitely check it out. I promise to give out some bone jarring hits on a regular basis for your viewing pleasure.
