The Quadfathers are looking for new skaters!
Already skate? Great, you sign a waiver and we can jump you into practices anytime and learn-as-you-go. We've got loaner gear and skates available for you to try it out.
If you decide you like it and want to stay, dues are $20 per month and insurance costs $45 for the year.
New to skating? Most of us were too! We are excited that CNY Roller Derby is once again allowing us to have our new skaters jump into their very well organized new skater training class. We will be announcing dates soon, but it will kick off with a meet-and-greet, open skate night at CNYRD's (and our!) soon-to-be-announced new home space in Utica sometime in late February. Following that, there will be new skaters classes Wednesday nights from 7-9 and Saturday mornings from 10-12. During the time you are part of new skater training, you pay $30 per month to CNYRD for their training. A Quadfathers rep will be at most new skater practices to help out ans answer questions.
The team practices Saturdays from 12p-3p, and new skaters are encouraged to stick around after the 10a-12p practice and get to know the team, help out with drills, and watch practice.
